Bulldog clamps are useful in surgeries that require precise blood stasis. A bulldog clamp is a useful tool for stopping blood flow to a specific organ. One of the most common applications where the Bulldog clamp can be used is in coronary surgeries where blood flow needs to be stopped. It is designed to provide excellent visualization for various valve operations, labyrinth procedure or other intracardiac procedures. It can also be used in full sternotomy or coronary artery bypass surgery.
